How To Use

The Trial Kit Enrich provides all of the steps you'll need to complete your traditional Japanese ritual of double-cleansing and double-moisturising. Simply follow the steps below:
Step 1:  Apply a cherry sized amount of Curél Makeup Cleansing Gel to dry hands and gently massage onto dry skin. To remove eye makeup, gently smooth over eyelids from top to bottom, then lift eyelashes and brush away makeup.

CAUTION: Avoid eye contact. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Step 2: dispense 2 pumps of Curél Foaming Facial Wash  into your palm and apply to wet skin. Work into a light lather, rinse, and gently pat dry.

Step 3: After cleansing and drying your face, dispense 3-4 pumps of Curél Hydrating Water Essence into your hands. Gently smooth into your skin until absorbed to prepare the skin for the next moisturising step.

Step 4: Apply a grape size amount of Curél Intensive Moisture Facial Cream to cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. Smooth cream over your face, working from the inside to the outside in long, soft strokes.

What skin types are the Curél Face product suitable for?

Curél is specially formulated for people who experience dry, sensitive skin. By protecting and replenishing ceramides, the products support your ceramides.

How do I choose between the two moisturisers?

We recommend choosing the Moisture Facial Milk or Intensive Moisture Facial Cream based on the season, how dry your skin is, or even based on your preference of product texture. The Cream has a thicker texture and provides a higher level of moisturisation than the Milk.

What are ceramides?

Ceramides are the lipid molecules found in between the cells in the stratum corneum, the top layer of the skin. The ceramides line up and interact with the other lipids to form what is called a lamellar layer which can be pictured like the mortar between bricks. In the skin, the lamellar layer is essential for moisture retention and the natural barrier function of the stratum corneum. As ceramides are a major component in this layer, they are a key material for retaining moisture and barrier function. When skin lacks ceramides, the barrier function of skin is lowered making it more susceptible to environmental influences and skin can become dry and less resilient. Moreover, we have found that people with dry, sensitive skin tend to lack ceramides in top layer of their skin (stratum corneum).
